The Education and Counseling Section is responsible for the following matters:

1. Education, moral instruction, and counseling of inmates.
2. Review of inmates’ progressive treatment programs.
3. Recommendations, reporting, and processing of parole, revocation of parole, and transfer to probation supervision for inmates.
4. Organization of inmates’ cultural and recreational activities, family visitation events, and Family Day programs.
5. Guidance of inmate assemblies and implementation of area-based inmate management.
6. Coordination with relevant agencies (organizations), groups, or individuals to assist in the promotion of education, lectures, and religious outreach.
7. Other matters related to education and rehabilitation.
